It was released in 1986 originally and served as the second single from Headlines. Ellie Goulding's version was released in 2013 and served as a promotional single.

The song was for Midnight Stars' 6th studio album (Headlights) which was the last album to feature the Calloway brothers who would leave the group due to irreconcilable differences with the other members. It was placed as track no. 2.
Ellie Goulding's version was available in the deluxe versions of Halcyon Days and was placed as track no. 10.
